Oh Flowers

I love flowers! They make a place look so bright and cheerful. We have just begun our flower planting and I am loving the way it is turning out. I have also found my new favorite flower... French Marigolds! They are beautiful. Here is what we have planted so far. Hope you think they are as pretty as I do!

Memorial Weekend

We spent the weekend at the cabin with Brad, Lindsay, Max, Sadie, and Molly. We had a great time. It was nice just to kick back and relax!

$8.00 Redo

At Lowes they have this stuff that you can spray on light fixtures and it changes it to look like oil rubbed bronze. It turned out even better then I thought. It was a cheap and quick project.

The Cake

It was my Dads 64th birthday this past weekend! To celebrate we had a BBQ for him on Sunday. Jeff and I got the idea to make him a special birthday cake, but not just any old cake! We made him a 4 wheeler cake! My dad enjoys his 4 wheelers and loves going on rides, so it fit him well. We were quite proud of how it turned out! Happy Birthday Daddy-O!!

2 more days!

In 2 more days there will be no more of this....

No more of this..... ( Bored Ashlee)

and no more of this..... ( A Bored Lucy dog, we promise to take you on more walks this summer!)

Wahoo summer is almost here! Jeff has two more finals and will be done on Wednesday. I am ready to have my husband back! I am very proud of him and the hard work that he puts into his schooling, but I am ready to have him for the summer. Jeff's typical night when he is in school is crack open the books at 6:00pm and close them and 12:30am. Does this explain way I am jumping for joy!
