Happy 1st Birthday Lucy!

Today is the day that my puppy is no longer a puppy! Does this mean that she will no longer chew and ruin stuff?? I thought to commemorate this day I would list all of things she has ruined! So here we go!

2 sets of blinds: $70.00
10 pairs of flip flops: $60.00
Shoes: $150.00
Socks: $15.00
Pens: $10.00
Carpet: $1500 ( she chewed the carpet on the stairs and she broke a blue ink pen on the carpet I luckily got most of that out, but we definitely need new carpet!)
Candle decor: $25.00 ( I have this candle thing that sits on our coffee table. Everyday I come home and it is scattered all over the floor. It has tons of scratches on it. Thanks Lucy!)
Toilet: $150.00 ( yes she broke our toilet. If you want the whole story refer back to my April posts!)
Gilmore Girls Season 7: $50.00( I borrowed this from my friend Jackie, and of course this borrowed movie is the one she decides to ruin!)
Dish Towels: $10.00
Pillows: $30.00
Blankets:$80.00

But this face.......... Priceless!!How we still love this dog, I don't know, but we do! She has been a great buddy when I am bored and she is always making us laugh. She is really one crazy dog! Happy Birthday Lucy Dog!!

And Jeff my not admit it, but I think he loves her too! Just take a look at what he gave her for her birthday dinner.....

That is a waffle with syrup, bacon, and dog food to top it off! If she pukes he is cleaning it up!

The never ending project list

Here is what we have done lately....

Jeff built shelves in the Garage. So we can put all of our crap somewhere!

We painted our kitchen table this past weekend. It was navy blue which didn't quite match our kitchen, so $20.00 later we have a brown kitchen table that looks like new and matches very nicely!
There is still so much we want to do, but with school back in time and money to do these things is in short supply. It is great though when it only takes $20.00 and little bit of time to make something old look like new!

Back to School, back to school got my boots tied tight I hope I don't get in a fight......

Well yes it is that time again, Jeff is back to school with his boots tied tight and he better not be getting in any fights!! I can't believe how fast the summer went! It was so busy, but fun at the same time. Jeff has a pretty good load this semester, he is taken 15 credits. I think he was ready to go back and hit the books. I don't know if I am ready yet to be by myself at night while he is studying. I get bored easily! Hopefully lots of girls nights will cure that! Good luck to all of you that are back in the grind!

2yr Anniversary and San Diego!!

We celebrated our 2yr. Anniversary on August 4th! I can't believe how fast time goes. We have had a great two years together. I love my sweet hunk of husband so much. He is so kind and patient with me. I am so thankful for him. I couldn't have ask for a better guy to spend forever with. I love you babe!! Alright I am done with the cheesy part sorry!, but you need a little bit cheese in your life right? On to what we did for our Anniversary. I got delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers at work! (see picture below) Later that evening we went to this little Italian restaurant here in Logan called Le Nonne. It was delicious! The following week after our Anniversary we went to the land fun and sun....SAN DIEGO. We went there on our honeymoon so it was great to be able to go back. We visited Seaport Village, Sea World ( my favorite place in the whole world!), Old Town and Oceanside. We ate lots of yummy fish and chips, and had a great little vacation together.

This was us on our honeymoon in 2007
I thought it would be fun to get the same picture taken so here is us 2yrs later!

24th of July

We spent the 24th of July at the Cabin. We had a great time relaxing, eating lots of good food, and enjoying family. The highlight of the trip was the Rattlesnake! Kelsey, Jeff's sister came across it when she was headed out for a 4 wheelin ride. It was a pretty big one! Jeff's dad killed it and cut its head off. It was kind of scary knowing that is was right by the cabin, Despite my dislike for the creature and its creepiness, I held the dead the dead thing! Don't believe me??? I have a picture to prove it!

Bee Stings and Sunburns

We have been the house of pain for the last couple of days. We went to Seven Peaks on Saturday and if you recall it was 102 degrees that day, great day for the water right?, more like a perfect day to get a killer sunburn! Jeff and I both got cooked pretty bad. When it hurts to shower, lift your arms above your head, and sleep is near impossible then you know you got taken by the sun pretty good! Now here comes the bee sting part of the story. On Sunday when we got home, we were walking in from the garage and Lucy spotted a bee on ground, she started playing with it and Jeff saw her, so he killed it. We were thinking she was lucky and didn't get stung, cause she didn't wimper or anything. As we were getting ready for church about thirty minutes later, Jeff looked at Lucy and her Left side of her mouth was swollen! It was huge compared to the other side of her mouth. The bee got her after all!! It was so funny looking I couldn't help, but laugh at her! Here are some pics of fat mouth Lucy and sun kissed Ashlee!

The many hair do's of Lucy

The Ponytail

Bobby Pinned, she looks really annoyed!
Full Fledged
Fro

The traditional Lucy Hair Do

I think the cutest part of our puppy is her crazy curly fro she has on top of her head. She is in serious need of a hair cut, so her fro is extra long. I tormented the poor dog and played with her hair. We bobby pinned it, put it in a pony and fluffed it up. The things you do when you are bored and you have a puppy around! Which one is your favorite?!
