Good News!!!!
Well we have some good news to share with you all! Jeff got a job today as a Civil engineering intern for the U.S. Dept of Agriculture!! We are so excited, this will be great experience for him while he finishes up his degree. He has been working off and on with his dad down in Centerville for the last six months. We have been very grateful that his dad has been willing to keep him busy. This will be so nice now though that he won't have a two hour commute. I am very proud of him and all of his hard work in school. We are very grateful for all of our blessings and the love and support from both of our families!

Halloween 2009
Jeff and I were Oompa Loompa's this year! The costumes turned pretty good! Jeff got his mothers talent of sewing, yes that is right my hubby sews! He stayed up till 2:30 one evening while I fell asleep on the couch. He did a great job!!
I won the costume contest at work, which was quite a surprise to me, because there were a lot of good costumes this year. After the festivities there, we went to my Grandpas 87th birthday dinner at Red Lobster. Man did we get some funny looks and comments when we walked in! After that we went to Halloween party at Jerry and Heathers place. Overall we had lots of fun this Halloween, we hope you all did as well!! Sorry the pictures are so small. I couldn't get them to go bigger. Just click on them if you want to see them better.

Traitors
Um Shouldn't we be in blue Aggie apparel? You would think right!? Lets just say Jeff attends USU and we pay them about seven grand a year, but we don't support their football team ( basketball is a different story! Instead of going to the Homecoming game at USU on Saturday, we drove an hour and half and went to the U of U homecoming game! Pretty backwards I know. Don't get us wrong we love Utah State, but we love U of U football too. GO UTES oh and the AGGIES
I love Fall

My favorite season has arrived! Pumpkins, fall leaves, cinnamon spice candles, my list could go on and on. Logan is beautiful this time of year. It is fun living so close to the canyon and getting to enjoy the outdoors. I am ready for this dumb 90 degree weather to go away though. I am ready for the chill! ( I won't be saying that in Feb. when it is -5 when I leave to work!) , but right now I am excited for it. This past weekend we went up the canyon with Jess and Andy and build a fire. We made tinfoil dinners and roasted s'mores. It was Delicious! If you are looking for pretty fall leaves come up and visit!!

Happy 1st Birthday Lucy!
Today is the day that my puppy is no longer a puppy! Does this mean that she will no longer chew and ruin stuff?? I thought to commemorate this day I would list all of things she has ruined! So here we go!
2 sets of blinds: $70.00
10 pairs of flip flops: $60.00
Shoes: $150.00
Socks: $15.00
Pens: $10.00
Carpet: $1500 ( she chewed the carpet on the stairs and she broke a blue ink pen on the carpet I luckily got most of that out, but we definitely need new carpet!)
Candle decor: $25.00 ( I have this candle thing that sits on our coffee table. Everyday I come home and it is scattered all over the floor. It has tons of scratches on it. Thanks Lucy!)
Toilet: $150.00 ( yes she broke our toilet. If you want the whole story refer back to my April posts!)
Gilmore Girls Season 7: $50.00( I borrowed this from my friend Jackie, and of course this borrowed movie is the one she decides to ruin!)
Dish Towels: $10.00
Pillows: $30.00
Blankets:$80.00
But this face.......... Priceless!!
How we still love this dog, I don't know, but we do! She has been a great buddy when I am bored and she is always making us laugh. She is really one crazy dog! Happy Birthday Lucy Dog!!
And Jeff my not admit it, but I think he loves her too! Just take a look at what he gave her for her birthday dinner.....
That is a waffle with syrup, bacon, and dog food to top it off! If she pukes he is cleaning it up!

The never ending project list
Here is what we have done lately....
Jeff built shelves in the Garage. So we can put all of our crap somewhere!

We painted our kitchen table this past weekend. It was navy blue which didn't quite match our kitchen, so $20.00 later we have a brown kitchen table that looks like new and matches very nicely!
There is still so much we want to do, but with school back in time and money to do these things is in short supply. It is great though when it only takes $20.00 and little bit of time to make something old look like new!
