We Signed Our LIves Away.... Yesterday

Yesterday to our surprise we closed on our condo! We were not excepting it, we were thinking is was going to be more like next Tuesday. Both Brian and Brandon come up to the closing, it was nice to have them there. The funniest part of this was, yesterday being Halloween I was dressed up for work, they do a whole custom contest thing. I didn't have time to change out of my costume to go to the closing, so I had to go as Cruella Deville! I will always remember I went to the closing on our first house with black and white crazy hair and a red cloak!! It was pretty funny. They have to overnight the papers to the seller in St. Louis, so it will be Tuesday or Wednesday when we can actually move in. We are very excited. I am getting sick of looking at all these boxes... I am ready to move!! Last night we went to Wal - Mart and got a red collar and red leash for Lucy. We even made her a tag to go on it! I will post some pictures of our new place once we move in!

19 Days and Counting.....

Well everything is going well with the buying of the house. The inspector is scheduled to come on Tuesday to check everything out. I hope that goes well. The sellers of the condo haven't lived there for 8 months so they had all the utilities turned off, and there is not much the inspector can do with out the utilities on. So now the utilities at 64 Hampton Place are turned on and in our name! We are getting really excited to move, and hope that everything goes smoothly. We could definitely use some weekends at home so we can start the packing process. This weekend we are down while Jeff is Deer hunting with Todd and his Dad. I will post some pictures of that next time. Here some new pics of Lucy, since I don't have kids to brag about I will brag about my puppy!

New Arrival

Well we have some exciting news to announce! We are expecting a new addition to our little family. To accommodate our growing size we have purchased a town home so that we can have more room, so the little one can roam around! We close on the house around November 5. We are very excited to move into something bigger. Our new address will be 64 Hampton Place, Logan UT, 84341 ( I don't know why but I love the sound of our new address). It is two bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 bath. It has huge kitchen that I am way excited for. We also have a garage that Jeff is glade to have. The area that it is in is very cute. It has walking paths and lots of grassy areas. They also have two parks, that our new arrival will love! We have to thank Brian and Brandon for all of their help with this process of house buying we don't know what we would do with out their help and advice. Oh and by the way that new arrival I keep speaking of is our new puppy!! ( not a baby!) We will be getting her on November 6 she has brown curly hair( like her dad) and big brown eyes and her name is going to Lucy! She is Cocker Spaniel. We are so excited to get her. It will be nice for me to have a companion while Jeff does his homework. Jeff has read a whole book on how to train her to hunt birds! He is excited to get started on the training process! Wish Him Luck! Here are some pictures of the new condo and the "New Arrival" Lucy is the brown one on the right!

USU vs. U of U

This Saturday Utah State Played the U of U up here in Logan. We invited my family up for BBQ and then some of us went to the game. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe we fit that many people in our little apartment, But it worked out nicely. It was a good thing we have all that grass out back. We set up camping chairs so some could sit outside. The nieces and nephews watched a movie up in our bedroom. I went up to check on them and they were all cuddled up on our bed in blanket. It was sooo... Cute! Those of us who went to the game walked up to the stadium. Most were sportin their U of U gear. Jeff wore a mix. He had on his U of U hat and his USU shirt. I was a true aggie fan and went all Aggie gear! The game turned out as expected USU 10 - U of U 58. The aggies did score the first touchdown, but it was all down hill from there! It was a fun tailgating party. Thanks family for making the long drive up and the even longer drive down due to the canyon closure! We love you all!!

The Shed

Jeff has spend a lot of this past summer building the shed for Brad and Lindsay. It looks so good! Todd and Jeff are quite the builders. Thanks Brad and Linz for the side job!

One Year!

One year has come and gone! Our anniversary was on August 4th. It is amazing how fast time goes, I cant believe it. We went and spent a night up in Park City. We stayed at the Marriott Mountainside Resort. It was really nice. We went swimming and ate at Baja Cantina ( so yummy) We also went on a hour horse back ride in the mountains. Jeff got me all these neat scrabook things, and I got him a BBQ grill for our camp chef. We forgot to bring our frozen wedding cake to Park City, so we ate it a few days late. It wasnt bad tasting for being a year old!

Our blog is back in business!!!

We are back in the blogging business! Thought we died? Well we didn't just our computer did! Thanks to Brad we now have a fast, new, nice computer! Now that Jeff is back in school, I am sitting around bored every night while he does his loads of homework. So blogging will be my new hobby to keep me entertained!

Our summer flew by so fast and I don't even have very many pictures to show for it. We had a lot of fun weekends up at the cabin. It is a great place to go and relax. It only takes us 40 minutes from our front door in Logan to the front door of the cabin. We love the short drive! Here are a few pics of our cabin adventures ( making ice cream)!

OUR FIRST APARTMENT

Well here are some pictures of our first apartment. For a first place to live, it is actually pretty spacious!! It has two bedrooms and one bath. The only big down side is the two cabinets in the kitchen as you can see in the picture!, but we have learned to manage. It is a great place, we love it! Might I add that the extra bedroom is wonderful to have for all of Jeff’s hunting and fishing gear, oh and of course the Pizza Hut sign!!

The Annual Ice Fishing Derby

Well the Once yearly Ice Fishing Trip has come and gone. Every year Jeff and his dad along with the brother in-laws and anyone else who wants to sit on a frozen slab of ice go along. Jeff says its his second Christmas of the year! This year didn't exactly bring the best of luck to everyone. I wont name names but six of the guys on the trip didn’t catch one thing in the three days.... No hard feelings guys!! Although the luck was with Jeff this time, he managed to lure ten trout’s to his pole!!
